How To Make Pumpkin Spice Cotton Candy!

You guys asked for it, so we made it! PUMPKIN SPICE COTTON CANDY!!! We have done SO many cotton candy projects (here, here, here, and here), but we haven’t experimented with crazy flavors yet, and with Thanksgiving coming up it was time to try the pumpkin pie flavor I’d been dreaming up all Summer. I’m all about being able to eat foods in different ways (we even showed a different take on “turkey” yesterday with pumpkin pie donuts), so I was excited to eat pumpkin pie in fluff form for this project! I didn’t go into this project with very high hopes; I definitely thought it was going to fail, but it came out better than expected and it even looks pretty with cinnamon swirls throughout! Get your pie crust ready because you’re going to want to fill it up with all of this cotton candy! Find the how-to below, it’s super easy I promise!

1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon allspice
Cotton candy machine
Paper cotton candy sticks

1. Put the sugar in a bowl.

2. Add in the cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and allspice. Mix together well.

3. Place in a ziploc bag and seal and allow to sit for half an hour so the flavor strengthens.

4. Follow the instructions on your cotton candy machine to spin the cotton candy. You could top a pumpkin pie or eat as is!

What other strange cotton candy flavors do you want to see! The possibilities are pretty much endless, so anything you can think of, we’ll try to make! Let us know in the comments below, and have fun topping your pies with this fluffy goodness!
