Gimme S’more: Holiday S’mores Party!

Are you guys ready for s’more fun?!?! We’ve been sharing sneak peeks over on Instagram stories all week and I’m so excited to finally show you the big shoot we worked on! We have some fun ideas today for you to throw your very own s’mores Holiday party, complete with a giant s’mores cake and colored chocolate bars!

I hope you all like this one because we had a lot of fun dreaming it up. This was the first time we were able to paint a wall for a shoot too (now that we’re out of our living room haha), so we were able to use a much larger area to set everything up. I mean, can you EVEN handle how much pink goodness is in one space?! This is pretty much my dream living room, so I might have to re-purpose this shoot for our apartment. Ha! Get ready for a color explosion in 3…2…1!!!

Furniture & Decor:

Pink Chair // Fuzzy Ottoman (Old Urban Outfitters) // Table // Bar Cart // White Tray // Pink Tree // Shelves // Furry Rug // Pillows // Lamp // Pom Pom Horseshoe

Kitchen Accessories:

Blush Trays // White Cake Stand // Yellow Cake Stand // S’mores Toaster // Iridescent Glasses // Pink Flatware

Dipping your graham crackers into colored chocolate is an easy way to make them a little more fun! Add sprinkles and allow the chocolate to dry completely before assembling into your s’more!!!

Did you know that you can make your own pink chocolate bars?! We showed how to do it over on this tutorial over here! It only takes about 15 minutes for the melted chocolate to set, and you have multiple bars of chocolate ready to go!

One of our favorite decor tricks is to spray paint fake pumpkins and scatter them around our party. If you use fake pumpkins instead of real ones, you can save them and use them next year or at your next Fall party! The best part is that you can get different sized fake pumpkins to use too, and they look just like the real deal!

Do you remember when we made a GIANT s’mores cake a few years back? I re-created it for this party by using a store-bought vanilla cake, and adding chocolate frosting and graham crackers. It only took 10 minutes to put together!

I love how this shoot turned out! It’s probably our biggest shoot ever, AND our first big shoot in the new space. Next up: we’re planning a big Christmas party, and it will be full of colorful trees and presents! I can’t wait to show all of you! Let us know in the comments below what kind of content you’d like to see now that we have the space to create it!!!
